5:30 CREW

The ride starts at Food Lion promptly at 5:30 and travels down Rt 12 (Beach Road) to Colington Rd in Kill Devil Hills. They take Colington Rd behind the Wright Memorial and get on the bike path to First Street. Then left on Canal which turns into Bay drive. At the end of Bay they take the bike path to Moor Shore Drive and turn left on Kitty Hawk Rd then right on Woods Rd to 158 and back to Food Lion.
A and B riders stay together until the first sprint (7 miles) and then A group hammers on and B group picks up dropped riders. The B group is a no drop ride.
Sprints are just before the turn onto Colington rd, at the uphill section at the end of Bay drive and the last few turns of Woods Rd.
Paceline experience is a must for the A ride and you will be asked to stop if your ride carelessly.
Helmets and lights are required.
